Quantity Surveyor
Manage project costs and provide accurate estimates and valuations throughout the construction lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
- Manage procurement and tender processes
- Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports
- Process and certify contractor payments
- Manage variations and claims
- Prepare final accounts and project close-out documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
- Registered with AQRB (Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board)
- Minimum 4 years of quantity surveying experience
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Cubit)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials pricing
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Experience with contract administration and procurement
