Terms of Service

Welcome to Tujenge Construction. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Tujenge Construction provides construction, design, and consultation services including but not limited to:

  • Interior and exterior design
  • Architectural drawings and plans
  • General construction
  • Renovations
  • Project consultations

3. Project Agreements

3.1 Contracts

All construction projects require a written contract specifying:

  • Scope of work
  • Timeline
  • Payment terms
  • Responsibilities of each party

3.2 Changes

Any changes to the agreed scope must be documented in writing and may affect timeline and costs.

3.3 Permits and Approvals

While we assist with permit applications, obtaining necessary approvals remains the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

Payment schedules are specified in individual project contracts and typically include:

  • Initial deposit
  • Progress payments
  • Final payment upon completion

4.2 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in work suspension.

5. Warranties

5.1 Workmanship

We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your project contract.

5.2 Materials

Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and are passed through to clients.

5.3 Exclusions

Warranties do not cover damage due to improper use, lack of maintenance, or acts of nature.

6. Limitation of Liability

Tujenge Construction's liability is limited to the contract value of the specific project. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Delays beyond our control
  • Issues arising from client-provided information or materials

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, and documents created by Tujenge Construction remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point they transfer to the client for the specific project only.

8. Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality of all client information and project details. We may use project photographs for portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

  1. Direct negotiation
  2. Mediation
  3. Arbitration under Tanzanian law

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement as specified in the project contract. Termination does not affect payment obligations for work completed.

11.2 Accuracy

12. Modifications
