Senior Project Manager
Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients
- Mentor and develop junior project managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management
- PMP certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in Tanzania
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera)
- Valid driver's license
